In addition to welcoming you, we are excited to welcome Alicia, Jody, and Lyndsie! Alicia will be part of the business team, taking care of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly. Jody will continue to be a dental assistant, helping to provide the best possible care. And Lyndsie will be providing preventive care as a dental hygienist. We’re pleased to have them and the benefit of their experience.

Who will you be seeing for treatment?

For preventive dental care through dental cleanings, you’ll have the option to schedule with Lyndsie as well as Cindy, a dental hygienist who has been with us for over 30 years. For all of your other dental care needs, you’ll be seeing Dr. May.

Digital X-rays — You’ll receive only digital X-rays, reducing the amount of radiation you’re exposed to by 70%.
3-D X-ray System — This allows us to spot an infection or tumor which can’t be easily seen on traditional 2-D X-rays.
Dental Implants — Permanent tooth loss solutions that protect your health and restore your smile, right here in our office.
Root Canals — No need to make another appointment somewhere else to be seen for that toothache that requires a root canal.
Sleep Apnea Treatment — Sleep is vital to your oral and overall health. We offer sleep apnea treatment devices to ensure you sleep well.

You’ll never need to be subjected to a gooey impression, either, with our digital impressions. And for those who are anxious during dental treatment, we also offer nitrous oxide — an inhaled oral sedation method that eases anxiety and makes treatment a breeze.

Will my previously made appointment be canceled now?
A: No, all scheduled hygiene appointments will remain unchanged.
Where will I go for my appointments now?
A: We’re at 1923 Johnson Road, Granite City, IL 62040. Our office is less than a mile from Dr. Valicoff’s. Look for the lime green front door! That’s us.
Will I need to fill out paperwork again?
A: We do ask each patient transitioning to our office to fill out new patient paperwork so we can get an updated view of your health history as well as any updates to your insurance.
What insurance networks do you accept?
A: We accept all PPO insurance networks. We are contracted with Delta Dental Premier as well.
What will the cost of treatment be?
A: We will always discuss a financial agreement on any needed treatment or procedures prior to your care. Knowing you’re coming from an office with different policies, we’ve made some adjustments to make the transition easier.

  • Your first dental cleaning with in-network benefits will cost the same out-of-pocket amount you’re used to paying with Dr. Valicoff.
  • Prior to your first visit, we will call to inform you of the investment of the procedures that are scheduled. Dr. May will be extending the same courtesy reduction that Dr. Valicoff provided to his uninsured patients.
