I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve all your dental goals!
As a dentist, I have the unique opportunity to help my patients in a multitude of ways. I help patients prevent or eliminate disease, improve function, and increase their self-esteem. Through each interaction, I also create a rapport with my patients and often become friends. Making real, lasting connections based on mutual trust and respect is why I love what I do!
The personal connection I strive for with each patient makes my job rewarding. I really enjoy talking with people, learning their motivations and apprehensions, and working together to conquer those obstacles in order to achieve their oral health goals. I truly listen to each patient and recommend treatment based on what I’d do for my own family.
My team is made up of extremely compassionate, welcoming people. It is common for them to go the extra mile for a patient, not because I’ve asked them to, but because they care. Many of the team members have worked together for years; we genuinely enjoy each other and the comfortable, encouraging environment we’ve created.
We pride ourselves on delivering anxiety-free dentistry and will do whatever it takes to make our patients feel comfortable and secure. We want people to enjoy their time with us and know we always have their best interest at heart.
- Bachelor of Science – Marquette University
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine
- Advanced education in general dentistry (residency) – University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
My AEGD residency was my first form of continuing education to follow dental school. It gave me a deeper understanding of the most advanced techniques in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, extractions, and implant dentistry.
I later completed a ten-month mini-residency and implant fellowship through Regents University in Atlanta. Upon completing that residency, I earned my associate fellowship from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Oral healthcare is constantly changing. It’s essential for me to stay current on innovative materials, techniques, and new technologies in order to provide the highest quality of care and results for my patients. Through continuing education courses, including seminars, lectures, and annual meetings, I ensure I stay up to date on new options.

Beyond the Practice
I am enjoying settling into the Metro East Area with my family. After growing up in Mount Prospect, a northwest Chicago suburb, and attending dental school in Alton, I am happy to set down roots surrounded by family and friends. My wife Emily grew up in Bethalto and we’re happy to be living close to family. She and I were married in 2009. In 2016, we welcomed our daughter, Hadley. We also have a Silver Labrador Retriever, Maisey, who joined our family in 2014.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending the majority of my time with my family. We like local St. Louis attractions: the Botanical Gardens, museums, the zoo, and farmers markets. We’re crazy about our dog and love being outside and playing with Maisey. Personally, I enjoy watching sports, as well as golfing and running, and I’m an avid reader, too!
